Annalouise Paul is an actor, dancer and choreographer. She began her career at 19 years old, training in contemporary dance and flamenco and moved to London and later Los Angeles, studying film acting and working for twelve years in total before returning home to Sydney where she now resides. During her time overseas she worked on A-list feature films, music videos, television, commercials and opera and with artists, directors and choreographers such as Michael Jackson, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Placido Domingo, James Cameron and Bill T. Jones & Co. As an actor, Annalouise has played a multitude of characters and her love for storytelling lies at the heart of her choreographic practice and research, exploring richly diverse cultural material for the creation of uniquely Australian works. In 2011, Annalouise launched her intercultural performance company Theatre of Rhythm and Dance and Flamenco Red presenting a distinctive flamenco expression for concerts, events and festivals. She has a long history of working in education and community projects and in 2010 Annalouise founded an arts sector-driven initiative Groundswell: Creative Thinkers, Creative Solutions an arts sector-driven committee dedicated to
